First NYC Exhibit HUGE Success

On December 1st, my 'Human Nature' piece travelled with the Peace Rises Exhibit to the Aperture Gallery in New York City. The reception was a huge success as we received a large turnout. Thanks to all at Whole9 for their support and encouragement.

'Human Nature' hits the BIG APPLE!

Introducing Cali's Boutique!

On November 1st we launched Cali's Boutique, an online shopping experience where you will find the vast collection of works by photographer, Cali Gilbert. The Boutique currently has three galleries on display. The CALI COLLECTION features a variety a photographs Cali has shot throughout her travels. It's Simply...Sausalito is a gallery comprised of the photographs from the book of the same title. The Inspirational Posters gallery is made up of photographs also from this book accompanied by inspirational phrases. The prints and posters come in a variety of sizes for you to choose from. There are also other products available as well. Make sure to stop by often as we are always adding more pieces.

Peace Rises Exhibit Visits The Bay Area

On Wednesday, November 9th the Swarm Gallery in Oakland will host the Peace Rises Exhibit. My piece, 'HUMAN NATURE' will be one of the featured pieces on exhibit. This is a touring exhibit that began in Los Angeles on October 22nd and will travel throughout California and onto New York City between now and January, 2012.

Peace Project Selects Cali's Work for National Tour

Last year, The Whole 9 asked the question, "If one person can singlehandedly get World Peace Day on the calendar, what can an entire creative community do?" Our accomplishments have answered this question and shown that when creative people come together and take action - lives are changed, communities are changed, and countries can be changed.

2011 MARIN CLEAN ENERGY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED

SAN RAFAEL--Two talented local artists have won a spirited competition focusing on the importance of clean energy in Marin County. Cali Gilbert and Karen Berg took top honors in the contest with photos of Rodeo Beach (pictured below) and the native California Poppy and Honey Bee. The contest was organized by Marin Clean Energy to encourage local Marinites to express why clean energy is important to them. Contest winners were determined publicly by the highest number of votes per image.

Marin Clean Energy would like to congratulate our winners and thank everyone who helped make the 2011 Marin Clean Energy Photography Contest a success. This includes all contest participants who submitted their beautiful photos of Marin County. The photos can be viewed on the Marin Clean Energy website and Facebook.
